Project Manager

We are looking for a technical and commercial Project Manager Assistant with experience and burning engagement for project management. The right candidate has time of service in this field in the range of 5 to 15 years with similar responsibility. Furthermore, our ideal candidate has education and background from projects that includes Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and working experiences from industries like Telecom or Transport related infrastructure projects. Our project will involve a close working relationship with the major toll operator and construction companies in Thailand, so basic knowledge of government and civil construction contracts are also necessary.

Other typical working tasks would be:

• Site management
• Planning and installation work together with suppliers
• Assigning and controlling risks
• Assigning tasks
• Control of the project execution
• Tracking and reporting of project progress
• Claim management

The Project Manager will have a close cooperation with suppliers and sub-contractors in the project, especially about delivery time and quality. The position will report to the Senior Project Manager.

Personal skills we seek a person:

• With strong health and used to irregular working hours (e.g. night work)
• Patient and flexible working attitude, and at the same time persistent to get the job done
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written
• Able to make close interactions with contractor, end user and consultants.

Job description: -

• Supervising and maintaining the total schedule for all activities relating to planning, designing, testing, procurement, and integration
• Liaising with customers to ensure that all work follows requirements of customers
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring completion on time according to the agreed schedule
• Coordinating between internal divisions, subsidiary company, collaborating partner and customers

Job qualifications: -

• Male, age 35 years old up
• B.Eng. or B.Sc. or higher in Telecommunication Engineering or related field
• Experience to manage big turn-key projects with international background capability to work analytic and strategic
• Good communicating and negotiating skills to ensure smooth completion of projects
• Must be capable of controlling work quality, schedule, budget, and safety
• Strong project management and leadership qualities
• Good command of spoken and written English
