After the Thai government began to unlock the country and reopen the economy, business operators have gradually requested their employees to return back to work as normal which is good insofar as kick starting a faster recovery. RSM Recruitment Thailand is already experiencing positive changes when compared to 2020 and 2021.
However, returning to work under the new normal still requires caution to prevent the spreading of the virus, which has not yet gone away. Businesses including RSM recruitment agency Thailand must still have measures in place for disease prevention in order to reduce the risk of temporarily closing their operations down.
What should the company prepare?
- Set up a team to take care of COVID 19, especially to conduct ATK tests before coming to work at the office.
- Provide alcohol gels at different locations in the office.
- Frequently clean contact points such as door handles and office equipment.
- Put in place flexible time in and out of work and lunch breaks to reduce congestion and allow social distancing.
- Reorganize desks with partitions and where possible distances between individual workers.
- Regular cleaning of air conditioners.
- Install additional air purifiers.
- Organize online meetings instead of attending all meetings in person to reduce infection risks.
- Create banners to promote hygiene in the workplace, such as for handwashing, mask wearing and marking the distances between the seats.
How should employees prepare themselves to return to work in the office?
- Adjust their daily schedules by starting with earlier sleep patterns, wake up early and plan travel times to avoid traffic congestion.
- Take a break from the screen to prevent fatigue and eye strain from staring at the screen for long periods of time including walking and stretching for a while to prevent office syndrome.
- Take better care of both physical and mental health.
- Pay more attention to cleanliness.
- Carry alcohol gels on person.
- Always wear a mask in the office.
