RSM Executive Search Thailand has been getting feedback from the market and its clients that the subject of “Employer Branding” has been receiving more and more attention and reasons as to why more and more organizations are dedicating resources to improve brand awareness. We also found that branding is now an important area of focus for internal HR departments. Organizations are aiming to convey the employer branding that will be remembered positively for candidates’ recognition. Branding is a big part of the job hunter’s decision making as to whether to work or not to work with your organization especially the new generation who are looking for the right job with the right brand.
Many organizations are paying more attention to creating a positive image in the employment arena through various media & social media outlets as well as focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) projects. These initiatives allow employees to gain confidence and pride in the organizations they have been hired to work for. The brand, organization culture & environment, career path and compensation & benefits are all of course important factors that will help attract good new employees as well as inspire current employees to improve performance.
To build a great employer branding requires the collaboration of many internal organizational parties not only the HR department. The senior management also have to get involved and provide their full support for sustainable corporate success.
